Description
Dave Bromley & Paul Longley have been performing together for about 8mths playing regularly throughout far north Qld. Paul, a trained musician form an early age, plays a stack of different instruments including keyboards, harmonica, North East Thai Khaen, didgeridoo, stomp box, guitar & trumpet. Teaming this up with Dave Bromley, a self taught guitarist/ singer songwriter, who has penned well over 30 original songs, many of which were formulated & inspired(??) behind the wheel of a dump truck throughout the many years he worked on the mines. Most of Dave’s original song reflect life up here in the north. These guys have a great energy together on stage and have a huge repertoire of covers by artists such as Goanna, Paul Kelly, Neil Murray , Cold Chisel as well as Neil Young & Eric Clapton to name a few. With the diverse range of instruments played by Paul it’s hard to imagine that there is only the 2 of them performing. They have just recently taken on the name ‘Midnight Express’ & are in the process of recording their first Cd as a duo.
